The article substantiates the theoretical, methodological and applied principles of forming an organizational and economic mechanism for assessing the efficiency of business processes of IT companies in the digital economy. The relevance of the study stems from the growth of technological complexity, the increasing need for speed in digital value creation, the need to increase transparency in operational activities, and the validity of management decisions. A comprehensive approach is proposed that combines the principles of process management, the principles of digital transformation, and tools for organizational and economic support, integrating the strategic, structural, economic, technological, and analytical components of assessment. The mechanism's structure is formed, including target, organizational, financial, technological, methodological, analytical, and interpretative blocks, as well as a subsystem for management decisions that ensure the consistency and coherence of the assessment stages. The principles of its functioning are systematicity, integration, adaptability, measurement objectivity, and feedback, which form the methodological basis for a comprehensive analysis of business processes. An evaluation algorithm has been developed that includes defining processes, establishing an indicator system, collecting and normalizing data, applying multi-criteria weighting methods, calculating an integral index, and forming management conclusions. It has been proven that using the mechanism helps optimize resource use, increase team productivity, strengthen management based on systematic data analysis, and ensure the sustainability of operational activities. The proposed approach serves as the basis for a continuous cycle of process improvement, enhancing the management system's flexibility and adaptability in the context of digital transformation. The practical significance of the model lies in its potential to assess the effectiveness of business processes and improve the management systems of IT companies in a digital environment.
