MODERN TRANSFORMATIONS IN ENTERPRISE ECONOMIC SECURITY MANAGEMENT

Abstract

The article examines the issues of enterprise economic security management, which are extremely relevant for Ukraine under conditions of external environmental instability and the growing influence of crisis factors. Particular attention is paid to the need to develop effective mechanisms for protecting enterprises from financial, market, and institutional threats. The purpose of the article is to generalize existing research findings, as well as to develop methodological and applied provisions related to modern transformations in enterprise economic security management. Based on the analysis of fundamental theoretical and methodological principles of the terminological framework in security management, the author’s definition of the concept of the enterprise economic security management system has been developed. In particular, it is presented as a set of institutional elements (responsible for the development and implementation at the enterprise of regulatory and methodological support for activities in the field of security), organizational elements (construction of an organizational and managerial system for managing the processes of security assurance), managerial elements (development and implementation of the strategy and tactics of the enterprise in the field of economic security), economic elements (formation and rationally effective use of resources, provision of necessary incentives for internal and external performers), and information-analytical elements (collection, processing, analysis, monitoring, diagnostics, and assessment of the state and level of security, identification of challenges and threats, forecasting of their consequences, modeling of the impact of security policy on the results of economic activity). These elements interact with each other to ensure the proper implementation of the economic security function in the course of enterprise development.
