A critical review of the approaches of various authors to the interpretation of the concept of "economic security of the enterprise" was carried out. An approach to the grouping of scientific views on the interpretation of the concept of economic security of the enterprise is proposed. The author's vision of the concept and structural and content characteristics of the economic security of a business entity is substantiated. A new vision of the basic provisions in the field of economic security management of enterprises and organizations has been developed. It was established that the economic security of the enterprise is a unique systemic characteristic of its ability to survive in difficult economic conditions.
